Ministry of Health and Population – Ambulance Fleet Management

The Egyptian Ambulance Authority is using Altair, our next generation fleet management system in order to run its ambulance operations with a fully automated resource management tool. The benefits are quick fleet overview and control, enhanced utilization of vehicles and crew, improved response times, cost control and efficient resource / maintenance scheduling and operational management. Using a highly visual multi-lingual web based interface, the system enables easy monitoring and continuous optimization of operations, resource and financial management. The system is built to efficiently manage vehicles, crew, hubs and other assets such as medical equipment and spare parts and includes interfaces to integrate with the GPS Vehicle Tracking devices to track vehicles, manage routes and control speed.

Softec adapted a flexible customer-centric approach to provide an end-to-end turnkey solution by not only supplying the software technology, but also identification of resource needs, training and guidance and hardware infrastructure set-up using HP and CISCO based infrastructure.

Ministry of Environmental Affairs – Information Retrieval Solution

The EEAA was in need of a sophisticated information retrieval and document archiving system. As various documents are stored on different local machines, documents get lost, become unorganized and hard to track and find. Softec provided the EEAA with a centralized solution that enables all users to centrally manage, search and locate documentations and information is of high importance for research activities and the process work flow. This enables the department to efficiently retrieve and process information saving time, effort and have a consistent version control solution.

The solution enables EEAA to computerize, automate and centrally introduce efficient management of information and documentation. All documents are managed with an ability of easy searching, finding and updating. A version control system enables department users to easily track changes and the process of the documentation.
