Background

Softec International is a software development and services company established in Cairo, Egypt in 2008 by Dr. A Ali Baghdadi and Nour Shawky with the vision to create smart cost-effective solutions for the global markets. The initial target focus was on aviation, logistics, distribution and financial industries.

Today, Softec International is positioned as a software services company providing a range of smart cloud and enterprise solutions to various industrial sectors on a global scale.

With the development team based in Egypt, it benefits from the availability of technical expertise coupled with excellent communication and infrastructure and is positioned for flexibility, whether working offshore as a virtual team, onsite sending professionals to remote locations, or combining expertise with other teams.

Softec International has three major business units:

Altair Fleet Management is our fleet management solution for air, sea and ground transportation enabling operators to easily manage and control their fleet and track their vehicles using GPS satellite technologies.

Softec Aviation develops solutions that provide some of the most powerful and most efficient tools for air taxi and charter buyer to locate organize reserve and pay for private aircraft deals.

Software Development Services include offshore development activities, web application and portal development, kiosk self-service solutions development, ERP empowerment and customized programming services to a range of international customers in Austria, Egypt, Kuwait UAE, UK and the USA.
